About Us

King's Arms Community Church was established in 2012 with a vision to reach out to our community with the message of the gospel of Jesus.

We joined the family of Regions beyond - an apostolic movement with churches in many different nations of the world - a few years later.

The global vision of Regions Beyond is based on 2 Corinthians 10:15-16 "Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand, so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you."

We are an evangelical charismatic church with a wide age group and we meet in our local community centre. Each week we gather for prayer, fellowship, worship and Bible teaching, holding firmly to the belief that the Bible is God's inspired word to us.

As we gather together on Sundays, we want to see people grow in their faith and gifts, welcoming participation in prayers and words of encouragement from the congregation. We have a time of worship that includes modern gospel songs and time-honoured hymns, followed by a sermon to encourage and inspire believers and encourage those embarking in the journey of faith.

We run the globally acclaimed Alpha Course to welcome those seeking answers to the big questions of life.

We are a registered charity and a member of the Evangelical Alliance and have robust safeguarding policies in operation.

The Leadership Team of King's Arms Church is led by Gareth Wales. Gareth has been a member of a NewFrontiers church for several decades. He left his engineering career in 1997 and became a full-time pastor in Biggin Hill in Kent, undergoing training at Spurgeon's Bible College in London. He and his wife, Lesley, moved to Gloucestershire in 2023 to lead King's Arms Church. Gareth has fulfilled a significant role as part of the gobal and UK leadership teams for Regions Beyond.
